NDAESP Elections
How do you feel about using the NDAESP list-serve as a way of showing support for declared candidates for the upcoming NDAESP election? There is currently no restriction for a list-serve member to do this. There is no language that I am aware of in our NDAESP constitution disallowing this. The list-serve will be used to share the bio information that will be submitted by the candidates. I am speaking about individuals showing support for one candidate over another, through the list-serve. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I think candidates can be endorsed via the list serv once the candidates have been identified. But, if this endorsement begins too soon it may keep others who are interested from submitting their names. Guidelines may need to be developed by the Executive Committee to address this issue.
I like the idea of using a BLOGG for endorsements. Not that I don't want to see what everyone thinks, but it can fill up an in-box quickly. It seems it takes too much time to weed through my e-mail right now.So, I am for using this as a tool.
